Unplugged, back in 1996
 In 1996, after 10 years of studies in Art and Design, the only chance was to sit down and reset all from manual to digital. Over the years I went through every possible job that involved a mouse, from advertising to branding. Freelancer between 2006 and 2016, the design is now limited to fonts, posted on loremipsum.ro

Branding and Advertising: Stock and Art Photography, Communication and Advertising Materials (Signage, Packaging, Prints), Branding (Analysis, Naming, Identity, Guidelines, Brand Books); C. Graphic and Digital Design: Desktop Publishing, Iconography, Type Design, Web Design, Animations and Coding (Flash, HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript), Experimental Projects.
Unfortunately, these days the digital design has become a world of copy/paste, generated with ready-made templates and AI (not Adobe Illustrator), leaving a very small room for creation.

So, back to manual gear.

Works

The selection includes images of unique works, posted without digital interventions, with all the happy accidents and signs of aging, gathered from a very long period of time, some of the oldest dating back to 1990.
Works on hold are part of personal collections, given away or stolen. Not very keen on selling, the sale is set up to make some space for new works, and the prices are high to ease the parting.
This is a one-man show and the process is slow. Nothing is automated and prefabricated materials are avoided as much as possible.

Website

The website is built to focus on specific details, rather than have an overall view of favorite works. Instead of a "Greatest Hits" Portfolio or a Curriculum Vitae, consider this a display of random memories, a subjective and partial form of expression, where an emotional or conceptual connection is more important than any opinion.
Not here to offend or impress, this is a personal space, as is.

The following terms apply to all orders placed through the website or via email.

Sales

Accounts are not required in the process, this website does not store private informations or handle payments.
Commissions
  1. Details of commissioned works are set via email.
  2. The negotiation covers every technical and aesthetical aspect.
  3. Prices vary from €100 to €1,000 (for large works up to 100 cm / 40 in) and depend on the technique, materials, and complexity. The project starts once an initial fee is deposited.
  4. Reproductions of personal works are excluded.
Checkout
  1. The user is redirected to checkout if the selected delivery is a valid option.
  2. The payment is processed securely and exclusively by PayPal, the account is optional and all major cards are accepted.
  3. Both parties receive a payment notification after the transaction.

Delivery

All orders are processed within 1 - 2 business days. The buyer receives an email with delivery details.
Price List
  1. The transport rate includes the Fragile Fee, the Insurance for 1% of the declared value and the cost of the crate.
  2. Shipments vary depending on locations and the package size (see list below).
  3. Extra large packages (over 100 cm on the smallest side) need special treatments to ensure safe arrival. The regular delivery fee for these is multiplied by 3.
  4. Prices for Specialized Art Logistics start at €235 and must be organised prior to purchase. To arrange special deliveries please .
  5. Local Taxes and Formal Customs Clearance are supported by the buyer.

Packaging
  1. Works on thin surfaces below 300 GSM are rolled up and sent in a heavy-duty tube.
  2. Thicker surfaces (posters on 400 GSM cardboards and paintings on canvas) are shipped flat in a reinforced box, placed between plywood panels, with their original chassis, if any. Most chassis include a protective/decorative wood trim, that can be used as minimal framing.
  3. A hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity is included in the package.

Support

Images posted on the website should not be the sole basis of your decisions to purchase a product without consulting more complete or more timely information, available at request.
Documentation
  1. Detailed and high-resolution images are provided on request. Damages and signs of wear are always pointed out. Variations in color, texture, or hand-made imperfections are part of the artistic process and do not constitute defects.
  2. To keep the product in optimal conditions, care and conservation recommendations are included in the documentation.
  3. The final packaging is documented for later reference.
Refunds
  1. The refund is made for undelivered or returned packages that are not damaged and were not opened. Otherwise, the purchase is final and non-refundable.
  2. Refunds are not offered for lost or broken items in transit.
  3. A return must be initiated within 30 days of receiving the product.
  4. The website includes a limited number of works, provided on an "as available" basis. Similar products are subject to exchange only in extreme situations.
